Mind Sports South Africa (MSSA) will be holding its Free State Online Provincial Championships on 5 September 2020, which will be the last opportunity for Registered Players to qualify for MSSA's 2020 National Team Trials.
MSSA's 2020 National Team Trials shall be held online on 19 September 2020 and shall be used to select the official South African Esports Squads. It is from the squads that the teams shall be drawn to attend the prestigious IESF 12th World Championships - Eilat and in other international test matches and championships.
Thus, North West saw a strong field for PES 2020. The athletes gave their all, and it was the Cape Town based club, PES Society, that totally dominated the final results taking 1st (Rafeeq Cariem), 2nd (Sahil Ebrahim), and 3rd (Riezwaan Hakim).
Rafeeq Cariem is vthe real star of the show. Even with the stiffest competition yet to be seen in a South African competition, Rafeeq dominated the field from start to finish. Rafeeq's standard of play catapulted him from 4th to 1st position in the rankings.
